Dilfkar School Thrilled to Have Kits and Books

Almost more than food itself, the instilled desire for education prevails in this culture. Children desperately want to attend school. Education represents hope. Hope for a better life and a better future. For each school we have visited in Dera, the first request is always the same: We have no books, please help us get books. In addition, school children must provide their own materials, which proves to be a financial burden to orphans and families working to provide even the most basic essentials in life.
We invite you to join our many volunteers who have supplied over 400 school kits and also raised money to buy over 1,000 school books written in the native language Affan Oromo.
Your school bag with supplies will put a smile on the face of a child and improve learning that lasts a lifetime.
