Progress in the Water Project
When they have water, students stay in school, mothers cook more regular meals and bathe children, and individuals and families spend more time generating income to provide for their families. After three years of drought, the people of Dera have hope that clean water will soon flow into their community through a new pipeline. Two new reservoirs are under construction. Local workers are finding employment in the manual labor of chiseling and hauling away huge stones that block the pipeline's path. Join Hope Arising as we work bring water to this community.
